He's just an Athan mouthpiece...he hasn't been "told" anything.

By all accounts the Chiefs were thoroughly impressed with Geno.

You say he was "punching tarpS" and "throwing a fit."

I've seen Peyton Manning and Tom Brady throw FAR more immature tirades on the sideline than anything from Geno Smith. Hell, that little argument that Cassel had with Todd Haley was way more immature than Geno's behavior during the KState game.

You're being a huge bitch about this crap. You either have some wacko narrow definition of maturity and leadership or you just hate Geno Smith for no good reason. Or both.

Someone is stretching the truth here, and THIS time it isn't the Geno fans, you silly douchebag
I've seen Tom Brady storm to the sideline, throw his helmet down and absolutely berate Troy Brown right in front of me.

What Geno did was NOTHING.

Get the impression that #Chiefs coaches weren't that impressed with QB Geno Smith. Kid has talent. Maybe just too cocky for KC's palet?

Yeah they do, but you know that else they do? Win. They are consistent winners who go to the bench and rally the troops. I never saw that from Geno.

And what about Geno taunting Longhorn recruits on the sidelines? Does that not count now?

I think he's shown that he can be rattled and figured out by good coaches too, which is a red flag IMO.

He said he was the same guy all year, but I don't buy that for a second. When things didn't go his way, he got frustrated and became immature. He was by himself on the sideline against KSU punching tarps and throwing a fit.

He snapped at a reporter and called his question "stupid". Whether it's a stupid question or not, you don't disrespect them. That's where negative stereotypes come from.

Add in the fact that he was an immature asshole throwing Texas signs to Longhorn recruits of all people, just to taunt them.

His team went into a downward spiral and he had streaks of average-at-best games on the offensive side of the ball in the 2nd half of the season.

I don't see why people are buying into his leadership and consistency? He's got a nice arm, and very good accuracy, plus he's mobile, but as of now, I'm as soured on him as I was before.

I wanted him to standout this week and show he is worthy of going 1st overall, not maintain the status quo of "first round worthy but not sure if he's even worth a top 10 pick at all."
What?

He had two bad games (Texas Tech and kansas State) midseason and then played extremely well down the stretch. It's not his fault they didn't beat TCU, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma. He definitely played well enough to win those games.

He played a below-average game (for him) in the snow/wind against Syracuse in the Pinstripe Bowl. Other than that, he was outstanding. THis streak of "bad games" is just overblown and nonexistent.

Tired of people acting like Geno's season ended with the KSU game. It might have for Big 12/major bowl purposes, but he came back and played very well against some legitimate teams after that.

Wow the better Geno does the more desperate and weak the points against him become... Keep reaching. Maybe we can take Tyler "BK hands" Wilson in the 7th to back up Geno

I really hope this is the truth.

I want to hear Dorsey and Reid drilled on the QB topic between now and Genos proday. And then for the media to turn it up a notch after he destroys worlds at his proday until the draft gets here.

Every fan of this team should know what they are drafting/passing on.
