It's these kind of descisions that have me hoping that the league will expand rosters at least to 58 sometime in the near future.

I think it's be helped by having a veteran exemption or two for the practice squad as well.

I watched the last Charger game through NFL.com to see Brian Parker. They used him almost exclusively as a blocking TE. What I noticed is a very good blocker with average speed. They did not target him enough to get a feel for him as a receiver. What I liked most is as a blocker he has a lot of attitude. I liked what I saw.

Just ran through it myself. Agree completely.

Was 3rd TE for the night. Didn't run too many routes, no targets. Looked to be sure to average in speed. Very eager blocker. Always looking for the next guy to hit.

Kyle Miller 2 year vet, practice squad only, father former NFL QB, probably high football IQ

I'm guessing he's limited as a receiver and they took experience...
