Best meals under $10 tourney

If there's two things Americans love more than guns & shitty beer, it's definitely food and a good deal.

We like to go out to eat, and we like it cheap. So, let's find out what the best deals are for a meal under $10.

In this thread, please nominate meals you've purchased for less than $10 (before taxes) that really hit the spot.

Please list the meal name and the restaurant where you purchased the meal. If you would like to link it in order to help me out, that would be appreciated. If not, I can do it before starting the actual tourney. If I have issues finding the item online, I'll contact the nominating person via PM for assistance.

So, to recap: Delicious restaurant meals for less than $10. Name them!

Just because you're a now a mod doesn't mean you can just 'automatically' join the food thread posse.

Uh, you did read the thread title right? Its a meal under $10. Thats it. And if everything tastes the same to you then you are not doing it right.

Saimin is a different type of noodle than Ramen and way better, IMHO.

No idea on price. Help me out!
Get the "Little" versions of the burger and fries, and you'll keep it under $10. The "Little" versions are still very filling. They always go nuts with the fries. I've never been able to finish all the "Little" cajun fries.

Yeah, I thought about only doing national franchises, but There's a lot of hole in the wall joints around the nation that deserve some love if they've got the goods. In those instances, I should be able to pull a photo off of yelp, and folks that haven't tried that place will have to vote based on the appeal of the picture.

There's already lots of local nominations from places around the KC area. Kinda sucks for us outsiders, but that's the way the it goes sometimes.

Who knows, though. You might see something in the tournament from a completely different area of the country, and then remember to try it if you're ever in that area.

FOR ****S SAKE, JUST ENJOY THE RIDE, LEW.

Good call, I'll go with the grande burrito from Lalo's Taqueria on 7th St. You can get it for 6.49, or smothered in queso for 7.49.

The also have fantastic lengua tacos.
