Phillip Rivers has the anti-clutch gene. He falls more into the line of quarterbacks like Peyton Manning who perform more poorly in big moments.

At least Manning never went 5 straight years without even making a Wild Card game...and losing to a rival 9 games in a row.

NFL corporate is trying to manufacture Rivers into some big game warrior this season...he has never been or will be. He's had a decade and a half worth of chances...

I think Arrowhead noise, travel and the cold weather are the difference...this is not a game where Rivers shines.

Rivers never pulls out a big win or out of his wife. Every year you can count on him for another lost season and another kid.

No doubt.... He won in Pittsburgh when actually he would have had an epic red zone interception which would have buried them but a fellow Steeler knocked it out of his teammates hands and into the hands of a Charger...

This was the mistake he seems to make, he just got lucky in Pitt.

I agree, however, the Saints didn't have a short week. They played on Thanksgiving the week before, but it was still a weird week for the visiting team...
