Comparison Draft Idea

Anyone up for a little comparison drafting off the same draft board?

Fanspeak.com has about 7 or 8 draft boards up, will let you do a complete 7-round draft WITH the compensatory selections and traded picks up there. If we all used the same board, it would give us a good common base (even if we still dispute a player's availability) to go from.

If you're up for it, then let's decide which board to use...

Optimum Scouting, Matt Miller, Draft TV, Mocking the Draft. Which one would you prefer?

Which board overall do you think is the best of the ones they have? I'd just like to see us pick one (flawed though it may be) so we have the same basis for picks.

Ehh....it's really the flip of a coin. I guess you could go with Fanspeak's board.

All of those boards are a joke, which is what makes fanspeak a joke. I wouldn't use a single one. I might consider, and that is a big maybe, New Era's (Matt Miller). The rest you could flush down the toilet.

Go with realistic prospects or take the top available dudes? Just ran my first sim and Winston, White, Peters, Beasley, and Scherff were all available at pick 18.

Ok, here's my best shot:

1.18: Devante Parker, WR, Louisville (Yep, he was up there.)
2.17: Maxx Williams, TE, Minnesota
3.16: Ereck Flowers, OT, Miami (FL)
3.34: Senquez Golson, CB, Mississippi
4.19: Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn
5.36: Shaquille Mason, C/G, Georgia Tech
5.37: Chris Hackett, S, Texas Christian
6.17: Trey Williams, RB, Texas A&M
6.42: Anthony Chickillo, DE, Miami (FL)
7.16: Robert Myers, OT, Tennessee-Chattanooga

I would say the (Yep, he was there.) applies to the entire draft save 3.34, 5.36 and 6.17.

Stay realistic, if you can. I'm thinking its increasingly likely that Parker makes it to our pick, though.
