Why did Alex Smith show up to camp?
Just curious because he could have held out and demanded an $80 million+ contract and the Chiefs would have been forced to pay him
Is Alex that great of a guy that he would sacrifice his future for the Chiefs? It's well know that he is the most charitable man in the NFL, but this is a little different given that the main beneficiaries are the Chiefs ownership http://www.deseretnews.com/article/8...st.html?pg=all So what do you think about Alex's decision? |

This is why I hate Alex Smith. His douchenozzle fan club.

Jamal Charles and his paltry $2 million salary has a much better case for holding out.

Don't worry, they'll draft his replacement (he's WAY underpaid) next offseason and kick him to the curb...

Alex Smith= Uber high character guy. He is too nice sometimes and screws himself, but he is a high character guy and you love him for that reason. He has to be among the nicest people in football.
I do wish he wasn't so nice and had a little more edge or killer instinct. |
