Congrats, you aren't one of the dumbasses predicting Armageddon before Alex played a regular season down. You're just the dumbass who joined the other dumbasses after the team goes 2-0 to start the season.

1 false start on the two TD drives. And he didn't get the 3rd and 15 with his arm.

Alex Smith has a lower YPC than Ponder's historically low 9.79 last year.

The OL can block. It's just it can't block 8 people at the ****ing line of scrimmage. They stack the box because Alex doesn't throw vertically. It's literally the same problem Cassel had and until you start taking shots down field it's not going to change- see our second TD drive as proof. As soon as Alex throws that 20 yarder, DB's are kept in check and the middle starts to open up for him- which is why Bowe finally got targeted on that drive.

No turnovers, and 4 tds, and the chiefs are 2-0.

Shrugs. The offense could be more efficient, and will be id imagine going down the road. But this is a hell of a start, and sure beats 0-2?

Am I rite?
It just isn't pretty enough. He delivers what he is asked and expected to deliver. Which, I would think, given recent years, would be enough for Chiefs fans for the time being. I was sure as hell happy in 2011. He isn't and likely never will be Aaron Rodgers, so if that is the bar, and winning isn't enough, well, I suppose, there is just no pleasing some people.

is it playoff time yet? No.. it's only week 2 in a new offense. JFC. You don't think things can get better with the O by the time the playoffs arrive?

no prob. I don't hate AS I just want to see him finish more drives off and take a few extra chances down the field. I think we could do that if we ran the ball more than we have.

I'll go you one better...we won't win a playoff game with the teams current level of play. But it's early in the year and they have time to get better.

You're too obsessed with Alex Smith....it's too early to consider him a success or a failure.

Give it time bro, give it time. Alex is a young, developing QB, starting in a new offense. By week 8 we should know what we have in Alex. Don't judge before he has time to prove himself, after all, he is just now entering the league.

BL I am ecstatic we are 2-0 I just know it is not going to last if we can't finish drives off and stretch the field a little more.
