9-14 going into this year. I forgot to count Mich state, so his record coming into this week was 9-16. He is now 9-17.

We tend to have high expectations. We are regressing, and this program has become a far-cry from what we used to be.

1. No conference championship in Bo's seven years.
2. Big Ten competition is a joke.
3. Our only BIG championship game, we got fist****ed to the tune of 70-31 by an unranked Wisconsin team,
4. Bo's seasons have followed a similar trajectory, whereby we look great early on and get fisted down the stretch.
5. Our 9-17 record.
6. 408 yards to Melvin Gordon, followed by blowing a 21-3 lead on Senior Day.

Re: #1 NU had the 2009 title game won and it was robbed from us by the crooked Big XII.

Other than that, all true and the program has at the very least plateaued if not regressed.

Yea. They kicked a GW FG with 00:01 to play after video review showed that incomplete pass hit the ground with 00:01 left on the clock.

The "New" Nebraska

Quote:

3:20:45 on the espn feed they start.

talking head one: People in Nebraska are always looking at things to be upset about with Bo Pelini
talking head two: lots of pressure. you want there to be pressure.
"for Bo Pelini the struggle is this might be as good as this program can be right now. they might be a 9-4 program, they've been a 9-4 10-4 program for the past 7 years. and with the competitive nature and landscape of college football this might be the new reality for Nebraska and its hard for Nebraska fans to accept that. its hard for Bo Pelini to accept that. But I'm not so sure its not accurate." (holy shit I had to listen to that 40 times to transcribe it.)

As an observer who has no rooting interest whatsoever for Nebraska (quite the opposite most of the time, actually), I can plainly say that the Nubs took it in the cornhole on that play. The game SHOULD have been over after that incomplete pass.

This isn't even debatable. The clock had a second left on it. Referees have clock errors corrected all the time.
