2017-2018 Official NBA Regular season

Let's start it... Warriors going for a back to back and 3 out of 4. Yikes for Gordon Hayward.

What a dominating game Lebron played tonight for the win, 57 pts and 11 rebounds

But **** me, you can't have a starting guard shooting 33% with limited range in the modern NBA. It simply won't work, no matter how good a passer he is. Teams will just say off and close the lanes.

He has to get to around 40% out there at least.
It's early, especially for a guy who actually was a pretty good shooter in college (41% from 3). I remember Jose Calderon not being able to shoot at all as a 24 year old rookie out of Spain and he's going to end his career as a top 20 3PT shooter in NBA history. Ball has time on his side.

Lebron started the whole trend of player collusion and building these super teams that really turned me off the NBA.

Except super teams existed decades before LeBron James even played in the NBA (1980s Lakers/Celtics, 1990s Bulls, 2000s Lakers/Spurs/Celtics). Most of NBA history is just a few teams dominating the league with a bunch of great players coming together.

You never saw Magic trying to recruit Bird, Jordan or Isaiah to the Lakers. Superstar players can enter the league earn their first huge contract and then add a championship to their resume by taking the easy way out and going to an established team.

Any of these talking heads saying Lebron is better than MJ was is just pulling a BS Skip Bayless routine and trying to be controversial with a hot take. It’s a shame because I like Nick and don’t think he needs to do it.

He's 2/12 for 4 pts right now.

He's young but he's brutal. He can't continue to get starters minutes if he can't find his shot.

I actually like him, despite his dad. Seems like a good kid. But Clarkson should be starting until Ball figures out a way to hit at this level.

We're like 8 games in and it's not like the Lakers are playing for anything right now anyway. He'll keep playing and he'll keep shooting until he gets it right (if he does at all).

To be fair, Lebron's longevity is pretty amazing. He's put a ton of miles on his body. What he's done is not easy, but he's a better physical specimen than any of those guys.

Although also to be fair, Magic Johnson had HIV so that part is a terrible comparison. Magic didn't retire because he couldn't hack it anymore. That's where it veers into terrible hot take territory.

Yeah, both Ball and Fultz are sucking right now.

As for the whole Lebron being the youngest to 29000, it's kind of a stupid record given the fact that all of those guys who came before played college ball prior to getting into the NBA and were in their 20's by the time they got their shot at the NBA. Lebron skipped college entirely.

Also pointing out Magic's year 15 is hilariously stupid given the fact that the dude got AIDS. Of course he was retired.

He'll never find his shot if he never changes his form. Charles Barkley pointed something out the other night that I never had thought about. Lonzo is a right handed player that cant shoot while running to the right because of how he shoots. The fact that he can't even go to his dominant side is a extremely huge flaw that lonzo must fix if he wants to be a long term starter in the league.

The big man evolution is amazing. The fact that Porzingis can do the things he does is just crazy. He's a 7 footer that moves like a small forward and can shoot like a guard. And he's far from the only big man that can do those things. It's just crazy how basketball players evolve.
