Not the way Sutton uses them.

If we re-sign Parker, all we have to do is find a Kurt Coleman to sign. Hell, maybe Coleman!

We will be getting Sanders Commings, too.

Commings is done, brah.

Anyway, it's a good bet a safety -maybe two- will be selected, but I wouldn't go so far as to say 1st round.

I wouldn't use a #1, but I cannot see the Chiefs not looking there unless they are able to re-sign Parker and get a decent veteran backup.

I'd be happy with Jaquiski in the 3rd, but I have a feeling that someone is going to take him in the 2nd.

I want to see how he does in the Senior Bowl with other top athletes.

It'll be Parker with a new contract and try out #3 for Commings.

I also wouldn't mind a 4th or later on Josh Shaw, the baby saver. I think he has the instincts and physicality to excel at the Safety position.

He's played basically two downs in the NFL, and made a big play with onr of them.

I'm bullish on Commings.

If Commings can stay healthy, he could have a big impact in the secondary next year. The problem is staying healthy.

Some guys just don't have NFL bodies.

We definitely need another CB now. Even if Gaines succeeds the 2nd half of this season....we'll be lacking depth with Parker moving to safety.

We shouldn't be depending on him for anything.

If he comes around then great but we should move on as if he isn't on the team.

And I think Parker can be a solid SS if we have a legit ILB on this team. We likely won't have DJ next year either...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

What if SF released Patrick Willis due to his 8+ mil cap hit and Chris Borland showing that he can play ILB at a high level?

Would you sign him?
