KU Who wins? College vs High school - Page 2

I think that we can say with a substantial amount of uncertainty that KU has the worst football team in FBS. So, the question I pose to CP, could the number 1 ranked HS football team in the US beat them. In doing a small amount of research I have found that St. John Bosco is currently the number 1 ranked school in the nation, so let us take a look at their roster that is full of legit college recruits.

All rankings are pulled from Rivals

I, for one, believe that this HS team would beat the Jaysquaks and I believe it would possibly be a blowout. So what does CP think? KU or St. John Bosco out of Bellflower, CA? Who wins between High School's best vs College's worst?

I'd say the reason your team sucks is because no one wants to go to the shit stain of a football program. You can't blame Beaty for losing every road game since 2009 (Except today! Congrats btw!!!!). The following are true stories.

About 8 years ago, when the Uconn women's team was undefeated, and the New jersey Nets in the NBA were in last place, there were arguments on forums, and even on television, as to whether the Uconn college women could beat the Nets. Understand that on any given day, the Nets could beat the best team in the NBA. The reality is that all NBA teams would be at least 80 point favorites against Uconn...with the correct line probably 110 or 120, just because you would run out of time, and sometimes the NBA guys would take it easy late. NBA teams could win by legit 150 points if they played hard all the way through.

And you will hear questions about whether Alabama in football could beat the Browns...you hear that every year. The Browns would be favored by 40 points. NFL teams have maybe once or twice in history been favored by 20 points. So, essentially zero chance any Alabama team could ever beat an NFL team. So, the Browns would be favored by at least 40, and the best teams in the league favored by 45 to 50, just because you can only score so many points.

A few years ago Rhonda Roussey was undefeated, and I saw a legitimate thread on a serious forum debating whether she would manhandle Floyd Mayweather if Mayweather had to fight under her rules. In the thread, there was a serious back and forth about whether Roussey could toss around NFL player Ndamukong Suh in the ring if Suh had to fight Roussey on with her method. Finally, in one of the great message board posts of all time, someone jumped in and said: "If you think Rhonda Roussey would toss around Ndamakong Suh in the ringt, then you are a jackass". Lol.

Which leads us back to this thread. Without thinking about it at all, I would have to say Kansas would be a heavy favorite. However, it would not shock me, that after pouring over player details from the best high school team, and comparing them to the Kansas squad, that I might say that it was at least possible, unlike the above three examples, but once you factor in that there will be Kansas players who are 22 years old, etc...then I highly doubt I would reach that conclusion. Without knowing much at all, I would put Kansas as a 30 point favorite right off the bat, before research. Once in a while a 30 point favorite gets beat, but it has only happened about 5 times in college football history. A better line is probably a 40 to 50 point favorite, which puts victory in the 99 percent range. Almost 100 percent, but you have to allow for somewhere between zero and one percent, if there is some great high school team out there and if Kansas has a bunch of freshman and sophomores playing.
