LNBS: A list of players KC should try to trade.

Jamaal Charles - seriously one of my favorite players to ever play for KC, but if we can get as much as a third for him, it might be best to move on. West, Ware and Reaves are a solid trio of RBs. If Charles has value, the Chiefs would be wise to extract it.

Knile Davis - has shown well in PS and is a solid returner that brings value. He would play a role for a lot of teams. He just doesn't have a role on this team that's gonna need to maximize every roster spot and is stacked at RB.

Maybe someone coughs up a 6th for him?

DeAnthony Thomas - brings an element of explosiveness to the field and gives extra value as a special teamer, but this WR group is gonna be a dogfight. Conley looks like he has taken a step forward...Maclin is Maclin. Streater has been good. Wilson has proven the ability to contribute already. Robinson was drafted. Tyreek Hill is gonna play a significant role.

If they can get a draft pick for him, they should.

James Oshaunessy - just an extremely deep TE group and they can't cut Kelce, Harris or Travis...so JO won't make the final 53.

Maybe a late rounder?

Tyler Bray or Aaron Murray - both are intriguing kids, but KC made a statement signing Nick Foles and handling him as they have (all the #2 reps) while also drafting Kevin Hogan. Granted, they weren't counting on Foles becoming avainable to them, but that makes 2 QBs expendable. Hopefully, we can get something for one of them.

Dontari Poe - back problems, not truly dominant. Like Eric Berry, not going to be s good bang for the buck player unless he signs for a team friendly deal and that's not today's NFL. These agents have a stranglehold on these owners with the big name FAs and somebody is going to overpay. This DL is very deep. Williams, Roches, Jones, Howard, Poe, Bailey, King and Roches are all guys that can play. Howard proved last year that he could play the nose effectively...and Jones looks like he could be an immediate difference maker.

If they can get a second rounder for him, I'd do it.

Josh Mauga - He's a solid starter and I know the LBs struggled a bit against LA, but that 5m we would save against the cap the next 2 years combined could go a long way towards continuing to bolster this roster and the younger guys need reps.

I'm sure someone would cough up a late rounder for him.

Hali's not going to be anywhere close to game shape if he hasn't even been practicing to this point.

This is likely his last season.

I'm not "afraid" of him but he can be a playmaker, so I'd rather see him anywhere other than the AFC West or on other contending teams like the Steelers, Patriots, Ravens, Texans, etc.

Clay wrong as usual.

BJ Kissel

Tamba Hali may return to practice in a limited role this week.

I think you place too much importance on training camp, imo.

The D is probably going to mimic 2nd half 2013s. Huge plays given up through the air with a limited pass rush.

Does this sound like a man who's playing status is up in the air for week one?

Relax people. Wear and tear being saved. Tamba ready to lay it all out on the field as usual.

I have no doubt he'll play.

How effective he is...is another matter entirely.

Would anyone trade charcanderick west? I doubt anyone will bid anything for knile knowing he's going to get cut anyway. Charles is too old to have trade value. West seems like the only back with trade value. I think a Charles, ware, reeves, Sherman backfield would be pretty damn good.

Really?

Not sure if you are being difficult here or if you genuinely believe that.

You think Tamba is sitting on his ass eating Cheetohs and working the turntable laying down more hot tracks?

His work ethic carries over off the field with his conditioning and training I am quite sure. He is a pro through and through, and the brass I am sure are quite confident in what he will bring to the field come week one.

I can see where Clay is coming from, and I think people are arguing with him simply because it's...well...Clay.

No one is doubting Tamba's work ethic, but there's a HUGE difference between being "in shape" and being "in football shape."

The only real way to get in football shape is to...play football.
