Civil War Watch

**** polls (!!!), so throw you opinions out there about:

How long before it starts?

How long does it last?

What will the war look like?

What will the Mason Dixon line look like?

Will there be any special rules?

How many die?

Who wins?

When I think about defending civil war monuments I think "How would my grandfather feel about re-enacting Normandy?"

He'd ****ing be pissed.

He saw no action and his brothers both did. What actually comes of pretending to fight the most painful moment in a man's life?

We do any 'Nam reenactments?

No, we don't. Mostly because it was the shit...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Not a helpful reply. Go **** yourself you pussy! You're going to be the first to run from the fight when the battle circles are drawn, whenever they're drawn, if they're drawn. If/when they're drawn, you be under a desk in the middle of the circle.. So shut the **** up you ****ing moron...

And good morning Sir...

I guess I don't get the correlation between monuments and reenactments?

I think there are plenty of monuments honoring the men who died in those conflicts.

But I'll agree, live reenactments by enthusiast seem to pretty-much be limited to the Civil War. Hollyweird movie making excluded...

What are the uniforms going to look like?

Liberals will be rainbow colored but should the good guys be green beret green or camouflage brown?

Not many people left that fought in WW2 and getting fewer each year.

Its true you don't hear about re-enacting of storming Iwo Jimas beaches or invasion of Italy. Nor any North korea let alone the Vietnam fighting.

Different rules for different wars Rausch, myself I like seeing monuments and statues and learning about Americas history.

I know a guy who does both Civil War and WWII reenactments. The guys who are into that have all kinds of toys. Tanks, armored vehicle carriers, machine guns etc. I don't think many of them are democrats.

I'm wearing this, that way nobody's allowed to hit me, and if they do the Civil War umpires will penalize them ruthlessly..
