He'll get an extension. But not a new deal.

Says you. Please don't ever be the GM of my team. The Chiefs need to use all options available to them. IF they can't agree on an extension, then they'll franchise him. Deal is they need to be very careful with re-doing contracts when players are still under their current contract for obvious reasons.

Yup. If there were a single defensive player in this league right now who is worth Haynesworth's $100 mil contract, it's JJ Watt.

They will franchise him if a deal isn't worked out. The Chiefs are not that stupid to let Houston walk away to FA.

And he has 100% participation in everything. Dude is Old School.
The Texans will void his option after next season and he'll get Haynesworth $$$. Deal is he'll be the ANTI- Haynesworth once he gets it.

Has Houston ever dominated against a top OT or even good OT in the league? It's always been Hali facing the LTs of opposing teams while Houston faces the easier assignment against the RT the vast majority, if not all, of the time.

Yup. Love his work ethic. I don't think that he's the type of player who's mentality and approach to the game will change after getting paid either, he just seems to love playing football.

Hali is the veteran and the more refined passrusher, that's why.

That doesn't mean Houston is a piece of shit.
