For the most part, that's me too. With very few exceptions, if it went moo or oink when it was alive, put it on my plate

Where most people disagree with me is, if it's still pink, get that damn thing back in the kitchen!! If there is any blood on my plate, somebody is getting a plate of food shoved up the posterior

I always thought pork was dry as **** when cooking it to the old temperature and then USDA reduced it to 145 degrees and I'll never eat it any other way, it's still slightly pink in the center.

If pasta is a vehicle for sauce then it is a vehicle like the Yugo.

Rice is much more complex a can be diversified in so many ways.

Add canned corn and see if it helps keep it a little more moist, and well as adding a bit of sweetness to it.

Bullshit.

You can diversify pasta in the same way.

It's all about what you cook with it or put on top of it whether it's pasta or rice.

A bowl of plain white rice is no better or worse than a bowl of plain pasta.

Its okay as long as it is not ground pork. Trichinosis is pretty much eradicated in the domestic swine population.
