If people thought we were razor thin on D help this year, they ain't seen nothing yet. WOW! We better hope the JC's and incoming grayshirts can ****ing bring it hard.

You are bound to have have one or two step up at the very least. Wether that is enough or not remains to be seen.

After the past two years an 8 win season after the loss of so many starters is something that I can stomach.

REALLY concerned about the DL. I think we'll make due in the back 7, but the front 4 Beyond Britz and Finau, there just isn't enough quality bodies and experience to get you through an entire Season. We have been EXTREMELY fortunate this year to have kept the majority of our DL injuries as minor. We need JC bodies all over this line to provide depth an maybe some starters.

Linebackers are an issue, but Slaughter (Redshirted this season as a SR) has a lot of experience, Mikey Moore is a stud as a RS FR, and Tre should be more than serviceable coming back from his injury. We just need a few quality JC's for depth. FR Will Davis, who RS'd this year, could be a real sleeper.

D-Backs will be fine with the return of Zimm. Dante Barnett has been fantastic as a true Frosh starter at Safety. At CB, I was never a big Bubba Chapman fan, and Nigel has been a shadow of himself compared to last season. REALLY like Randall Evans game and upside in coverage, and I think Kip Daily will be a Bubba equivalent. Morgan Burns should slide in as a nice DB in Nickel coverage - which we run a shit ton in this League.

I agree the line is the scariest part. It is what it is though. Every program has that down year or two with fresh faces after a bunch of seniors leave. Just have to hope the kids respond to LHCBS the same way this group has.

That Calvin and Hobbs cartoon should have been like this:

Calvin,"You leave the Big 12 for the ultra competitive SEC and go 5-7. You go out and shit your pants against A&M and hand their QB the Heisman!"

Hobbs,"What? We had a great season! We have 6 teams in the top 10 and Bama is going to win the NC!"

Calvin

Cats play in Seattle this weekend. I'll be in attendance. We'll likely get our dicks knocked in the dirt, but still should be a fun time.

Very cool. Wish I could be there.

If the Cat's don't figure out how to score in this offense, we will be getting "our dicks knocked in the dirt" by a lot of teams. Watching JO and Rodney flounder in this O like a couple of fish out of water is painful.

Travel safe and bring us home a W!

It's pretty clear to me that JO is hurt.

Rodney needs to be more aggressive.

JO is hurt right now, but he hasn't been hurt all season. He's just been worthless.

Rodney is having a problem blending his game into this half-court offense. I do agree with your aggressive comment.

Well, yeah.

The amount of 12-15 foot shots our bigs take is maddening. The fact that they make so many of them is equally puzzling.
