He is definitely super athletic. If they can kee transitioning it to the field at Olb, it would be nice to have.

I still feel like Tanoh would be best served playing at DE vs OLB. We’ll see how the transition works. Hopefully it pays off and you’ve hit your future OLB’s in Tanoh and Speaks for the next several years.

We just need one of Tanoh/Speaks/Ford to play well. Not even be a double-digits sack guy, but a 5-6 sack player who could get some decent pressure consistently.

Or all three get pressure sometimes meaning one of them will do well a game.

I feel comfortable with Houston and Jones being above average rushers. We just need that 3rd and 4th player to step up.

I'd say it doesn't matter who gets them, if the three of them can combine for 13-14 sacks we'll be looking pretty good. I don't think that's too unreasonable.

we need consistent pressure to help our shaky coverage unit.

Would probably be better this way, actually. That way, we don't lose much production due to injury or have to pay an arm and a leg to one guy come contract time.

The competition is going to bring out the best in all of the OLBs on the roster. It should also help with the OLBs having a specified coach and the ILBs having theirs. Their responsibilities going forward are going to be vastly different so coaches that can target certain things makes a lot of sense.

That sack was ruthless.

He's always clearly been raw but our bar for OLB comparison is Dee Ford who has consistently been uneven.

He's not exactly what we needed from a second round pick last year when this team has so many defensive holes, but he's not completely a lost cause.
