Damn Iphone 4

For some reason, I cant' get any cables to stay in my headphone jack. No matter what type of cable I'm trying, it always pops out just a hair and that of course ruins the signal. If I push it in real hard it will sometimes stay in there for a short period of time...but usually it just pops out. This happen to anyone before?

Are you using any kind of cover or bumper?

There's a little gold loop that you can see if you shine a light down into the port. It should be toward the bottom. That little loop is what holds the jack in the port. See if that loop is crushed or missing.

I had a problem like this with my 3GS. They have a little dingus at the Apple store that they use to help blow debris out with canned air.

If you're direct and act like you know they might let you use it without having an appointment.

No bumper or anything. I too thought maybe there was lint or something down there but ai used a light and didn't see anything. The cable stays in, it just pops out just a HAIR and then it stops playing music. Really pisses me off lol

Yeah I guess I'll just go to the Apple store tomorrow and see if they can do anything to fix it. If not, oh well. It's getting close to time for me to get an upgrade anyhow.
