I think there is a good chance that Kaepernick ends up in KC
Andy Reid gave a chance to Vick
Kaepernick fits Reid's system (read-option, dink/dunk with very little deep passing)
Kansas City is a smaller market with an easier media

I've seen no reason to think that Reid wants a young QB as his #2. At the very beginning of last season, they hinted at letting the young guys compete for the #2 spot but ended up signing Foles and cutting all the young guys.

Bray (Token young guy who's inactive all year)

I think Kaepernick doesn't get a job for a long time, then has to settle for a 1-year contract to prove himself. He'll sign late in a place like Carolina or Kansas City.
