There are some fans who aren't afraid to be wrong on a QB pick, because they recognize that there's really nothing all that terrible about it. The fears of "OH NOEZ QB BUSTZ!" is what pisses us off.

It always starts out with "The Chiefs should take a shot on a QB because we don't ****ing have one right now. Perhaps Mark Sanchez, etc..." The pooh-poohing that erupts basically corners those people into defending those QBs to the death.

For example, I was in favor of tapping into Jimmy Clausen. I wanted Eric Berry more, but I wouldn't have minded trading up from the 2nd for Clausen. As it turns out we didn't even need to trade up if we wanted to get him, and when we passed on him for Midget Mc****stick, that's when shit erupted. People acted like it was all about liking shitty QBs, but it was more about not being afraid to see if we could strike it.

After all, for every Jimmy Clausen there's a Colin Kaepernick, and for every Brodie Croyle there's a Russell Wilson. How the **** are you supposed to get a Russell Wilson if you're too afraid he's going to be Brodie Croyle?
What a load of bullshit. It had to be a QB, and all the QBs were shitty.

And bullshit on you, ****face. There are plenty of QBs that I wanted the Chiefs to avoid.

QBs drafted in the first round since the Cassel trade that I wanted no part of:

EJ Manuel
Brandon Weeden
Jake Locker
Blaine Gabbert
Christian Ponder
Sam Bradford
Tim Tebow
Josh Freeman

They gave him a solid receiver in Decker, so that should help his progress.
Then you would be one of the ones they are talking about.

Keep in mind, you're not allowed to discern between Jimmy Clausen and Geno Smith, Mark Sanchez and Ryan Tannehill.

They're ALL busts, as are all QBs not currently playing for the Chiefs.

Watching draft day was ****ing funny when the only involvement by the Chiefs was trying to trade for a soon to be backup quarterback.

It's in this franchises DNA.

I just hope that Andy and John were brought in to change all of that.

The Chiefs are the ones who wonder why the hot chick won't go to the prom with them.......when they didn't even ask her. Instead they ask the girl from 4th hour study hall with the eye patch and club foot.

To date Fisher and Smith are running neck and neck. I loved the idea of Geno but if the story is true of him playing Angry Birds while interviewing with Andy then I was wrong to want him at 1.1.

Does he play for the Chiefs? The answer to that question determines whether or not he's a bust.
