2015 Fantasy Discussion

Drafts coming up in a couple weeks, and I haven't seen a thread yet.

Was wanting to get some input overrated players/sleepers/strategies etc.

I've been going back and forth on what I want to do with my 2nd rounder. I've done a few mocks, and I really want to take Luck in the 2nd.. but I just can't seem to get as good of a team that route.

Also for the later 1st round who do you take out of CJ Anderson, Jeremy Hill, and Demarco Murray? To me its between Murray and CJ.. Leaning towards Murray. I don't think there will be a huge dropoff for him this year like everyone else seems to think

Not a huge sleeper, but I've been taking Jordan Matthews in just about every mock. I think he is going to have a HUGE year and he will be great value. Even Agholor should be a good late pick. Also Martavis Bryant. I think they finally found the guy to take some pressure off of Antonio Brown. Lastly I like Ameer Abdullah.. he should be a great fit in that offense, and I saw that Bell is going to start the season on the PUP

I did a mock draft and ended up with Ellington and Hyde in rounds 3 and 4 with Megatron and Julio as my 1/2 picks. Dez went a spot before I picked or else I probably would have taken him.

Not sure how I feel about those RBs as my starters.

I like Gordon, assuming he's there more so than Hyde/Ellington.

Gordon. Mostly because he's going to be the starter.

I like his upside more.

I like Abdullah a lot too. Just not that early.

I'm in the same boat as dartgod, but 12 teams. I can't believe JC will do any worse than last year, and if he is a top 3 RB at the end of the year, is it really that big of a difference week to week?

Peterson has a young QB, and preseason leg injury already. Bell misses two games, plus I'm supposed to believe Pittsburg has the #1 RB and WR? lacy is a bit of a game changer, with Jordy's injury. Could that have any trickle down to lacy getting more touches?

Knile is the only reason I even am contemplating a different choice.

Andy Reid admitting JC has been used as a decoy too much or getting away from the game plan gives me hope he learned from last year and this year will be more like 2013.

I'll answer that thusly....I had the #1 overall last week in a 12 teamer with 1/2ppr and I now have Charles on my roster.
It may not be the "right" pick, but I've literally seen services that suggest no less than 6 players are the "correct" pick there (Bell, Charles, Peterson, Lacy, Forte, Brown). I figured I may as well have the guy who will make watching him score a TD even more enjoyable.

So I have no clue on what I'm going to do this year. I'm keeping Le'Veon Bell and losing my 2nd round pick for him. Won't find out where I'm drafting until this weekend. But here is my quandry....

If I get a high 1st round pick.....then I get better value for Bell but I'm ****ed when it comes to talent. I'll get a top RB but I'll be scrambling for starting WRs when I pick again in the 3rd.

If I get a lower 1st round pick.....then I get less value for Bell but I'll end up with a top WR at the end of the 1st. But I'll still need 2 RBs for the first two weeks of the season until Bell gets back.

Calvin went surprisingly late in my draft. I'm too lazy to look it up but it was either the end of the 2nd or beginning of the 3rd.

My pick is tonight in a 14 team 1/2 ppr league and I pick seventh. Our flex position includes QB, but I am trying a new tactic of stocking up on all positions before taking a QB. Nine QB's came off last year in the first round and another nine the second round. But, top tier WRs score as much as QBs... so I'm planning on coming out of the draft with maybe only one QB.

Dream draft would be Charles, followed by Brown.

One reason I really liked Charles in the past is because there was a clear handcuff. Oh, and we get return yards points, so Knile Davis could even be used in a pinch along with Charles. But, this year, I think West and Davis share the load if Charles goes down.

Why is Megatron being so undervalued this year?

Ended up with pick #4. No clue what I'm going to do now. Peterson and Lynch were kept....so those two are gone. Almost a sure bet that Charles and Lacy are gone with the picks before me.

Do I grab a top WR? Settle for a RB like Forte or McCoy? QB is pointless because Rodgers and Luck are being kept.

Why's that a bad thing?

Both are arguably the top players at their respective positions.
