-- We're way overdue to discuss Steak and Shake in depth.
This is the best value + taste fast food out there, IMO.

Today I alternatively decided on a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and a gigantic OJ (both were way above average) The sausage was well done - which I prefer. The Orange Juice was very refreshing.


Their lunch $4 options are a hell of a deal - occasionally I'll get the triple hamburger and fry after adding cheese and tax it's something like $4.86

Now I DO like Culvers, but all things in the mix; Steak and Shake is doing better things for the community by being MUCH more affordable.

What do you all like ordering at S&S...?

Don't remember that, but you mentioning reminds me. . . Have I raved here about Popeyes' ghost pepper jelly? [caveat, it's not scorching, or even noticeably, hot like the name would suggest, but a little sharper than jalepeno jelly. But soooooo tasty]

It's a steakburger and it's pretty damn good. Quality is top notch. The Freddy's around here are really good. Other than Pepsi products to drink.

Yes the Cpt D's sauce was a yellowish and had bits of pineapple in it - I'll try to find a photo - I think they MAY still have it available.

truth.

until i started telling them to cook the fries well done, I had pretty much written them off. their fries Suu*******ed. greasy, soft, limp. like the oil isn't hot enough to get a crunch on them.

last few times I've been very pleased with it.
