Will watching this Super Bowl hurt Chiefs fans more than usual?

I think it will be harder than usual to watch this Super Bowl as a Chiefs fan, because if it were not for Andy Reid's clock management, we might be playing in it. We beat the Donks decisively once and had them all but put away another time. It's not at all far fetched to believe that we could have won an AFC Championship against them.

Regardless of whether the Donks win or lose, it will be hard to watch the Bowl this year without thinking about the missed opportunity. Will this affect your enjoyment of the Super Bowl this year?

Not at all. If Denver wins (highly unlikely) it will suck but at the end of the day it's just a game.. More important things in life to get upset over.

On the contrary I think I'm going to enjoy this SB because I expect the Panthers to kick the Donkeys ass.

Chiefs were damn close this year but i'm not sure about winning vs CAR or AZ in the SB. I'd rather not make it than lose the big one

Well 45 years of watching others in the SB I will say I have gotten used to it. Watching the Faid go to the SB with Gannon was tough and the traitor Neil Smith winning a ring with the donks was tough. I will say it toughens you up to where you just grit your teeth and bare it.

No one said anything about 'should'. But if ever there was a year when the door was open, with a weakened Patriots team as well as a Broncos team that nobody is really afraid of, and no other great teams in the AFC, this was it.

It's completely possible that if Reid knew how to manage the clock we would have won the last game, and one or two others during the season besides. We'd have been in the mix for home field at least.

The door might be open next year too, but it for sure was there this year.

If I didn't think the Patriots would make it to the SB, I don't think you guys woulda' either. The teams got stronger the closer to the SB. I could argue we had too many injuries too but that's lack of depth. Gawd! You are delusional. And people call me a homer.

I think it will be hard for Pats fans to watch it. But not me. I'm kinda relieved to not live through that stress. Rooting for Carolina of course for the NFC!

The Chiefs will be a better team next year. They went 11-0 with a bunch young, second string players (many of them undrafted). The experience of a 12-6 team along with a playoff win will go a long way in their minds in terms of confidence.

The second and third year players will take the next step, the return of Jamaal Charles won't hurt, nor will the return to health of Justin Houston.

If Dorsey continues to have success in the draft with even two impact players (as he did in 2015), this should not only be the best team in the division but once again one of the best teams in the AFC.

Playing the AFC and NFC South's divisions won't hurt their win/loss record, either, as they really need at least one home playoff game, if not home field advantage.

Unless a 90 year old Bob Sutton suddenly learns something from watching others defend the quick passing game, none of this really matters.

We are not advancing very far in the playoffs anytime soon with Sutton's inability to adjust his scheme.
