I was in need of a guard but let him slip off the board early while I was chasing 4 or 5 other guys.
Then bid for him before next year. He'll be a free agent before the 2013 season unless the Broncos franchise him.

I don't think yo ushould look at it as getting a steal for 1 dollar. He now only has that player for one year unless he uses one of his two resigning options for next year.

Heh heh.

I'm pretty stacked at guard so I'm probably going to move a couple next offseason in trades. Might just re-sign him (you can re-sign two players I believe before they hit FA) since I don't have a lot of key players coming free.

I'm pretty thrilled with getting Kerry Rhodes for something like $35.

I'm not in love with the guy. In fact he wouldn't have even seen the field for me this year. But he's a great depth/upside pick up for $1. Just caught my eye because, in hindsight, he's exactly what I should have been looking for and I let him get smuggled out from under me for $1.

My favorite signing for me for the offseason was still my most expensive one - Tarell Brown.

$115 for a legitimate #1 cover corner who still has 3+ good seasons in him is a steal, IMO. As the FA market progressed, guys with nowhere near his upside were going for that price and more.

I feel like my Jason Hatcher pick up was great and surprised he didn't go for more.

Game planning ?

Why can't I flex out a TE in 4 and 5WR sets
They aren't being used at another position

I was going to post something similar in the Sandgestian thread, but hadn't gotten around to it.

I can't really justify running a 4 wide if I have to run Gronk off the field and bring in Heyward-Bey.

That's similar to my suggestion that's already in there.

If you could likst Gronk as your starting TE and WR4, the problem would be solved. But Sandbox won't allow you to list a guy in multiple positions, even if they're in backup roles.

Im sure it will be available at a later time. I want this to but for the defense in obvious passing situations I want my best pass rushers and coverage linebackers.

Ok, I'm taking the site down to load the databases and run the first week of simulations. I'll let everyone know when they are posted, hopefully within an hour or two.
