****The Official Save Our Chiefs Movement Thread****

Organization:

pr_capone: Paypal / FB / Media Contact
Marty: FB / Twitter / Media Contact
GoChiefs: (Cassel's Reckoning) - FB / Research / Youtube

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

This team is just plain awful. The only consistently good play on offense comes from Bowe and Charles. Daboll is, I'm sure a great person, but an awful offensive coordinator. While I understand that trying to lead this team is "like trying to drive a car with 4 flat tires"... it is incomprehensible to me how he can misuse the little talent that he does have. Romeo was the right man for the job regarding Belcher. He is still not the guy to coach this team into playoff contention and a Super Bowl.

*****. I hope the rumors of the Titans being interested are true. I hope you did get your walking papers on your recent trip to Dallas. I cannot wait for you to be gone from Kansas City. You took an ailing team and smothered it Cassel, ineffective FA, and bad picks in the draft. Statistically... you are the worst thing to ever happen to Kansas City Chiefs football. I will be thrilled when your termination is announced.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is still an unresolved issue with the donation from sports nutz and both parties are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Because I cannot afford to pay for a 2 hour flight by myself... we are only planning on flying a single banner. Effectively, we only have $960ish in the bank until the matter is resolved.

If the funds come available in time for the banner to fly, we will fly a second banner as well.

It's all good. I just don't want to go any further with it.

He's already paying Pioli over $5M per. Not really a stretch I imagine.

Also the Chiefs haven't sent out any STH renewls yet, or I haven't gotten mine. Which is weird since I have had my tickets since 2006 this is the lastest they have sent them out.

This town will throw a parade if Cowher is hired. He's a winning version of Marty. I just find it hard to imagine that if he's ready to comeback to the NFL there won't be a huge bidding war for him.

Well, according to Marty, Clark has already started putting out feelers towards Cowher.

He started in KC, he knows what this town is like, and how it would act if a winner was put out there. Plus he could come back, put a winner here and be enshrined in Chiefs lore.

Plus, it's what I want so **** it, it's gonna happen.

A large portion of this town would rather draft a MLB than a QB, too.

He could come here and go 10-6 every year and not have a playoff win and be enshrined in Chiefs lore. The bar isn't exactly set real high.

Yeah, but FFS, where we are now, I'd take 10-6 and give me a chance with a new QB.

Nah. Even though we've dropped this far, the Super Bowl is still a goal.

We're one of the only teams in the league where our team's "heyday" doesn't even include the postseason...

Well if Marty story is true he has already talked to him and so he probably has a good idea if he is interested or not.

I am honestly not all that excited about Cowher but there could be worse hires
