Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

I just didn't have a use for it. In PVP there's several exotics I would rather lay waste with.

In PVE there's a ton of strong legendary fusion riffles. I can see if being useful for a boss fight but not more useful than Ghorn or Ice Breaker.

I don't do much PvP, in fact I haven't played once since the DLC, but I love it in PvE. It absolutely wrecks shielded or yellow Knights, captains, Wizards, praetorians, etc.. It also makes the multikill bounty a piece of cake as it counts the whole 3 or 5 shot sequence. Love my icebreaker too, but they fill totally different needs for me.

Weekly is the Archon Priest. Solo took less than an hour. Reward was a crappy purple launcher from New Monarchy, so my no exotics streak lives yet another week.

I haven't gotten one (aside from Xur or a bounty...) since early November.

I was doing three a week up until the dlc. That's how the number's 17 or 18 now.

It kind of got to the "why bother" point...

I think I might do it on my other two, since it's such an easy one. It's just a bummer to spend forty five minutes, make one stupid mistake and get sent back to orbit. At least with the warlock there's a margin for error.

Ironically I finished this morning without dying, only to get to orbit and realize I didn't have the bounty for that.

DT is a solid Nightfall partner. My usually fireteam is not. They like to run and gun and then get revived. It's super aggravating for someone like me that's slow and methodical.

I always love hearing "how did I die?". I look down and there's 2 captains and 30 shanks standing over their dead body.

Yeah I probably frustrate people as slow as I go. But I'm used to soloing and there's no run and gun in that.

We wiped on the priest twice. The first time he died, I jumped down to bubble and rez and missed the right trigger. Meaning I threw a grenade and died. The second time I was playing it safe, clearing stuff and then rez him, and totally missed that a drop ship had spawned. Cannon shot to face.

It's actually easier solo. The boss just stands in one place and is dead in a minute, don't even worry about adds. But I'm too gun shy to solo on my titan or huntard.

After countless CE clears I finally got Black Hammer. On my first hard mode run of the day I got Word of Crota.

I am now officially retiring from hard mode. I would have preferred to go out with 3 new sparrows but since the stats match that of Time Breaker I can live without them. I know that I'm going to get suckered into some more of these Oryx forsaken raids so maybe I'll get lucky.

Maybe I'll start working as a sherpa for people who want to run normal mode. It's still pretty fun and I like that it doesn't take all night.

With the new rumors about House of Wolves not coming out until May I'm likely to take a long Destiny vacation once Borderlands comes out in March.
