Johnny Manziel benched for partying on his BYE week
Apparently you cannot party on your BYE week if you are an NFL player. Manziel was seen partying in Austin, Texas and when I mean partying, I mean just holding a bottle and talking to people. Not getting arrested or causing problems.

My guess is that he's on probation and not supposed to be drinking at all. I suspect that a player without past problems wouldn't get in trouble.

You can't party as an NFL player when you've been given strict instructions not to do so. The guy just got out of rehab, for Christ's sake.

What people seem to be forgetting, is that, in the end, Johnny Manziel is an EMPLOYEE of the Cleveland Browns organization. If his employer gives him strict instructions regarding his conduct outside of the workplace and how it reflects upon their organization, they have a right to punish him for not obeying those instructions. Just like any other employee - employer relationship.

The kid needs to get his shit together. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth but he's doing his best to **** the golden goose right in the ass.
