Drive by shooting in Brookside
Jesus. Now even the nice neighborhoods are getting shot up.

A man in his late 30s was sitting on his front porch in Brookside on Wednesday morning when he was shot to death, Kansas City police said.

Just after 8 a.m. police were summoned to the 200 block of West 66th Terrace, which is just east of Brookside and Wornall roads, on a shooting.

“It appears that our victim was sitting on his front porch of his residence when he was shot. The victim’s spouse heard something and came out and discovered her spouse on the ground,” said police spokeswoman Sgt. Kari Thompson.

Investigators are searching the area but have very limited suspect information. The shooting is not believed to have been random.

Police said they were looking for a white 1997 Chevrolet van with Missouri license 6FA 453. Anyone who sees the van is asked to call 911. Police warned people not to approach the van if they see it.

Police are speaking with the victim’s spouse to determine what happened. A car was heard speeding away immediately after the shooting. Investigators are also trying to determine if the victim had just walked his children to school prior to the shooting.

Police are canvassing the neighborhood.

“We’re hoping to get to the bottom of this and solve this case as we hope to solve every case,” Thompson said. “We need help. We can’t solve this alone.”

The death one of three homicides reported in Kansas City in the past 24 hours.

It's amazing that this crime in Brookside brings out the "How can it happen here" comments. 20 years ago an Atty friend of mine was getting broken into on Ward Parkway so often that he had to turn his alarm service off. There were and I am sure some fine lines in that area as Pickert knew since he shows an address on 48th and Lydia? I owned a business just east of Brookside and it was rough way back then.

Pickert and Fowler appear to be in a co- counsel or have some other agreement with an Atty: JOHN R. CAMPBELL, JR, who used to share office space along with many others including Pickert's firm.

It appears that a levy order was placed against DAVID G. JUNGERMAN both on his company's property and his home yesterday.




So was Claire McCaskil so that maybe one against her... when did your wife serve?

Ask her is she remembers anything about the Fab 4? That will tell me how long shes been around,

I met Claire before public service (cough) was even a thought in the back of her mind.
There was a murder in Brookside just a year ago at 59th and Oak. I grew up on Oak not far from brookside. There was always crime.

on the south, east of the old trolleT track there were shops and one was hi end ladies clothing. then there was that huge building to the north? Bowling?

The other lawyer Ryan Fowler, who was co-counsel is locked in a concrete room with a steel door and no windows and isn't coming out til the killers caught.

****ing Atty's defend someone who is stealing from others, and destroy someone who seems to have had some purpose in their life.

The guy who started the suit has not be heard from but I bet he's cowered in the corner of his basement with 2 pistols and a rifle.

Latest news says that Jungerman is nowhere to be found. It's going to be interesting.

Why is your leg worth $350K if you lose it at work and $5.75M if your shot and lose your leg when stealing from others?

Harris was a homeless man who was stealing copper from a business off of Ind. Ave in the NE area.

Why is his leg worth more than a hard working persons who loses their leg in an occupational accident $5.3M more??? Preventable or not it appears the criminal wins.


If Jungerman did kill him, I am afraid I might not be able to sit on that jury.

I guess I need to get ready to be bombarded by the newest social justice group ALM.
