***Official Draft Tyler Wilson Thread****

...might as well get this started early.

Perhaps his injury well allow him to slip to the middle of the of the 1st round,..where we tend to draft.

He's convinced we need to take a QB...

In the 3rd or 4th round.

It's just unfathomable.

I've pretty much come to realize that Chiefsnation as a whole, is a gigantic true fan. They really just want exactly what Marty gave them. Full stadium, bbq cooking, etc.

But, thankfully it's looking like we got a front office thats gonna **** punt that out of them.

I think Nassib is actually falling during the week, Glennon is mixed, Wilson is rising (to some, for the NFL guys I've read he's about where they've had him all along), and the others are meh.
I don't think Wilson is so much rising as he's PROVING what some of us have thought all along.

Nassib was sexy possible 1st round grade guy entering the week that is now looking firmly as a 2nd round prospect. Dysert is looking like a 3rd/4th round prospect much like Jones and Manuel. At this moment I would say only Smith, Wilson, Glennon and Barkley are 1st round possibilities.

^^This. From what I've read, Nassib hasn't made any wow throws but has flashed on occassion whilst struggling with deep throws (shocker ). Glennon has flashed primarily in 7s and Wilson has been able to be above average in both 7s and 11s.

While taking into their full seasons and not having access to more than 2 hours of film from NFLN, I'd rate the following as Wilson, Nassib, Glennon, Dysert, Jones, Manuel.

You should point out to them that Russel was competent in 2 different terminologies, has an excellent release and more importantly decision making. He is also exceptionally smart (which accounts to him making the correct reads on ZR plays from the pistol), and is very accurate.

If you look at the NFL combine report, the only thing they have negatively about him was his size.

Now Mitch is using Denver as the blueprint.

"Rather than take a risk and get the next Tim Couch, take Von Miller and get your QB later."

Nevermind the fact that the unique circumstances that led to Peyton Manning being available will NEVER happen again.

Yeah and I think there is a pretty decent gap between Wilson and Nassib. Of course Wilson looks pretty good throwing next to dipshit and ass**** too , so there is that.

I also think most of the NFl guys probably have Geno firmly in the top 15, which is why he didn't go this week.

I just read today that Wilson came into this season with a draft advisory grade of a 1st rounder. He is basically performing up to that grade. Sure his senior year was not quite what many expected but many reasons for that slight dip are well documented. What he is doing this week at the Senior Bowl is reinforcing what the NFL thought of him entering the season.

Geno is thought to be a early 1st rounder and that is the reason he didn't go to the Senior Bowl. The player with the most unknown right now is Barkley. Word is there are teams that have rated him fairly early in the 1st round but others clear back to basically the 3rd round. Barkley wasn't going to risk the chance of hurting his draft stock. We will know his fate when it comes to the Combine and Pro Days.

And if there is a Von Miller in this draft, I'm Gene Wilder.

Dude is blinded by the Marty years. The whole fanbase is. I don't think most Chiefs fans watch football outside of the Chiefs.

Hell even if there is a Von Miller (which there isn't) in this class we wouldn't draft them with Hali and Houston here.
