Yes They Were Home Games...but We Still Beat Both Superbowl Teams

Just Sayin

Stange little meaningless fact but just figured I'd throw it out there. The team has flashed signs. I think the 3rd year under Reid/Dorsey will be a charm. Hopefully Berry is healthy, Houston stays and others injured are back....oh and Manning decides to retire. That would be nice.

The same ****ing coaches and players in the game tonight, were bested by the Chiefs coaches and players, but its fashionable right now to be negative, I get it, I'm negative about a great many things as well... but this "bah, dont mean nuffin" stuff is junk.

Apparently the losses meant little to the Pats and Seahawks.

They were a different team back then. They peaked at the right time though.

Questions is, could the Chiefs beat either of them today?

I'll stop, pinkie promise.

But seriously mang, to beat these two teams means something IMO, are we still high and dry without a playoff win, of course... but to beat the two SB teams in the same year?

I'm not sure what the number is, but there are surely very few that have accomplished that, and if I had to guess... I'd bet that team went on to success afterward.

The 1998 Rams lost to the 1st place 49ers, with the best offense in the NFL, 14-17, then to the last place Falcons, with the worst, 38-41 in back to back weeks.

It happens when there are quality components, but gaping holes.

Gotta have a quality offseason.
