Michael Avenatti is a Superstar

Michael Avenatti is Donald Trump's second-worst nightmare.

The honor of being Donald Trump's worst nightmare obviously goes to Robert Mueller, as Mueller is slowly but surely tightening the noose on the Russian Colluder in Chief. But Mueller is running a tight ship. No leaks are coming from Mueller's team, and Mueller himself is very tight-lipped about what he has found.

This is where Michael Avenatti joins the party. He goes on all of the talk shows and exposes Trump and his lackey Giuliani as the fools that they are.

It is unlikely that Avenatti has any information that Mueller does not. But Avenatti is doing something that Mueller cannot. He is fighting (and clearly winning) the battle of public opinion. He is beating trump at his own game: A media barrage where he is always at the center.

When feeble old Giuliani declared that Avenatti is an "ambulance chaser", Avenatti responded with this hilarious and epic takedown:

Another awesome tweet from Michael Avenatti, Superstar:

Can you post links to those stories?
You STILL believe the Russian collusion story?

****ing moron. So much crying.

We're not at war w/ Russia. Russia isn't our enemy, no need to impose anymore sanctions. And you can't really trust congress to do anything that's for the best interests of this country anyway. I'd trust a backdoor under the table deal between Trump and Putin before I would trust anyone in congress to pass a bill that (they claim) was in the best interests of Americans.

And really, we're not ever going to "win" the trade war w/ China. Their slave labor and currency manipulation won't allow it. US is 40 or so yrs in the hole in that game. But...what would Hillary do? <<< NOTHING If Trump can at least close the gap a little, I'd say it's a partial win.

So that litany above, it serves the momentary purpose of erecting your Potemkin 'dispositive distinction' between Trump's nature and demeanor, and Avenatti's. But when people go back and look at your history, it becomes clear that you were much more concerned a week, a month, a year ago, about nature and demeanor characteristics of Trump's that resemble what Avenatti at least aspires to, and for which you praise him today.
This is the same generic horseshit you always post in response to my specific criticisms of Trump’s actions and his policies. It’s so much easier for brainless Trump supporters like you to just stick your fingers in your ears and mindlessly chant “TDS! TDS! TDS!” and to repeatedly say “BUT HER EMAILS!” than it is to defend the indefensible.

It would be a better look for you if could articulate a coherent defense of things like Trump’s attack on Amazon or his obvious $500 million bribery by China. The problem is that you CAN’T defend those things, so you go back to the old reliable but meaningless horseshit.

It’s the Trumptard argument. It’s also the only argument you have, and it’s a terrible one.

You're a ****ing emotional Hydra. Don't like how one discussion is going, grow a 'new head' of new complaints and issues for everyone to plow through while you try to catch your bearings.

This thread is about how AWESOME Avenetti is.

My response to this celebration of sick burns and sweet tweets was to point out that your admiration of Avenetti's methods and demeanor impinged on the sanctity of your existing criticism of Trump's methods and demeanor.

You weren't criticizing Trump's policies in this thread until I pointed out a flaw in your lionization of Avenetti. And I don't have to plow through your busywork-making list of ad hoc complaints you subsequently generated to divert from my observation of that flaw for my observation to have merit.

My initial observation stands, cheering Avenetti cripples your existing tantrum regarding Trump's assault on decency and norms.

Before you lecture me about the topic of this thread, maybe you should take it up with the poster who started the Avenatti/Trump comparisons in post #23.

Stop being such a Trump sycophant and start doing some crtical thinking for a change. It would do you a world of good.

Let's paraphrase this. You trust a backdoor handshake between Trump and Putin ahead of the elected congress of the United States. That is truly astounding.

Refer to post #55

Knowing what we know, how can anyone trust our govt right now? There's a huge constitutional crisis just over the horizon. This is a very big deal. This is the most corrupt political scandal in our nation's history. This is small potatoes compared to WG.

And Trump/Putin already have had backdoor handshakes (re: Syria).

Remember...Hillary wanted war w/ Russia. And that's exactly what we would have gotten had she been elected.

Oh remember how Trump/NK were going to start WW3 over Twitter???

Trump isn't the dumb crazy asshole the left and msm points him out to be. And Putin isn't the evil dictator our msm points him out to be. MSM puts Putin in the same category as fat Kimmy and gives off the impression that Russia is our enemy. That's simply not the case.

Horse shit. The thread started by YOU has the central premise that Avenatti is a superstar because he's Trump's worst nightmare. And the premise that he's Trump's worst nightmare is founded in him playing the media with sick burns, unsubstantiated innuendo, insults and tweets.

Your premise, stated by you with no prodding or instigation from me or any other poster here, is that Avenatti is awesome because he's doing things you hate Trump for, but he's doing them against Trump, which converts fungible acts, demeanors, and demonstrations of [however you want to term it] moral fiber, coarseness of discourse, crassness, . . . whatever, from an irritation to a catharsis for you personally.

No different than how all us Chiefs fans cackled with glee whenever Sean Smith would clutch scrote in the dogpile when he was on our team, but we would curse dirty players like Romanowski in the same breath.
