Somebody shot and posted a video from a jam in Memphis a couple of nights ago, and like, this is me on drums here.

It's on a facebook page, I don't know if you have to log in. It is a video posted by Burney Warren, and it is currently listed under recent activity.

Is it a jam where people can sit in? There are probably some people still out there kicking that I worked/jammed with or at least knew from my KC days.

Is Millage Gilbert still with us and out there working? His son James was a fantastic bass player, would love to play some songs with him again.

I can only imagine how hard it must be to book a "blues band" gig in Memphis... the competition must be insane in that town, for you guys to get what looks like a nice place speaks to your abilities.

Your guitarist really starts doing some great things in the last third of that song Dinny... I've watched drank and danced to more blues bands than I can count and he's definitely a good one.

That is not my band/Peter Sellers

I am just sitting in with those guys at an open jam at Kudzu's in Memphis. I am hoping to get a chance to do some recording and shows with the singer in the video.

He is an excellent blues harmonica player, but he didn't have his harps with him that night. He said he lost them a few nights prior when he ate some mushroom cookies. He didn't elaborate, and I didn't pry.

That guitar player has 83 nuts in his bag. He kicks ass on slide, as well. It is rare to see a guitar player do both as good as he does. I have a ton of respect for all of the guys in that host band. Their name is Low Society.

Best wishes on your future collaborations in that town, let them know Dinny is there to get down... a good rep as a gig/session drummer in that town would surely mean a decent living doing what you love.

I'd pay to watch any band you're in.
