Best All Time AFC West QB's

I was talking with a friend of mine and we got on the topic of All time best players by position in a specific division.

It would be cool to see if we can get a consensus. The only rules are that the players must be the best at their position for each team. What is the definition of best? There are no clear cut lines, however a few guidelines: Hall of fame inductee, super bowl appearances, statistical dominance and team effectiveness while employed by that team. Players who established greatness with another team can only be considered if they continued amazing accomplishments with their new team.

Only Current AFC West teams will be considered - Seattle will be considered NFC west in another poll.

***EDIT***

Network fail - lost connectivity and lost ability to set up a poll maybe a mod could fix?

Supposed to be BY TEAM

DEN:
Elway
Morton
Manning
Plummer
Cutler

SD:
Fouts
Rivers
Flutie
Humphries

KC:
Dawson
Green
Montana
DeBerg

OAK:
Stabler
Gannon
Hostetler
Schroeder

Props. And he was better than good, he was hof great. The plays he made, the 40 yard rockets across his body with a man hanging off him, haven't been seen since. Love him or hate him, you have to respect the play.

Merlin Olsen, who partnered with Enberg as the color commentator, is the bestever in that role to me.

He flat stunk. 10 for 26 for 108 yards and 0 TDs.

He was a great QB and earned his slot in the hall of fame from the complete body of his work, but I'm not convinced he is the creme of the division.

Edit: Upon further review, welp, yes Elway is the all-time best QB from the NFC west, much as it chokes me to say it. I hate Elway and always will. Big baby.
The AFC was an incredibly weak conference in those days, and the Broncos were really not a very good team.

Elway, more than any other single player, carried his team to those SBs.

I am pretty sure I am alone in hating him from the first time he entered the booth.

Fair. I actually meet Madden on a team bus in 1976 when I was a little boy. He was very nice to me, liked him ever since. Liked Cosell too though those memories are hazy.

I am too young to have heard Olsen in the booth. But considering he was also an actor I could believe you in saying he was great in the booth.

I got over that whole "BOOM, POW, BAM" thing watching Batman in the 60s.
Shit just irritated the hell out of me.

Elway, no question. He had it all and was one of the few that could block out Arrowhead distractions and still play with authority.

Don't see many coaches smoking on the sidelines during games these days. I agree also that Plunkett needs to be on there. Most rings won by a Raider QB.
