National Geographic Series - MARS
Has anyone else been watching this?

I've yet to miss an episode and its been well worth my time, really enjoying it... many of todays top scientific minds, such as Elon Musk, are acting as consultants so the realism factor is high

I hope their timeline for the first manned mission to that planet is right, I'll only be in my early to mid 60s... would love to still be around to witness such an incredible undretaking

Looks really good but haven't caught any of it yet. When are they predicting the mars mission?

Is it more of a traditional documentary laying out the pending technology and infrastructure to be developed?

Haven't paid much attention, but that was I got an initial sense it was more of a docudrama, a fictionalized [p]retelling of a Mars mission.

The second sentence has it, but when they come back from commercial breaks they always spend a few minutes talking to various scientists about some aspect of the show that was covered before the break
