Time to accept what we already know.

The Kansas City Chiefs are a loser franchise. Over the years, there are countless people and decisions that have been blamed, but at the end of the day, it’s always the same: the Chiefs are losers. I’ve known this for some time now, but somehow, I keep letting myself get suckered in year after year. Shame on me.

I’m 40 years old. In my lifetime, I’ve seen 4 Chiefs postseason wins. 1 AFC championship game. 0 Super Bowl appearances. 0 Super Bowl wins. That’s pathetic, and the definition of a loser franchise. Few teams have a worse record of postseason success over that time. Yet, I keep letting myself think that maybe this is the season they prove me wrong. Shame on me.

Going into today’s game, I had no anticipation of a Chiefs win. They don’t win games like this. They don’t step up when it really matters. Yet, this was the year of so many unexpected, crazy wins. Deep within my heart, there was a glimmer of hope, that maybe this was a team of destiny. No surprise, I was crushed yet again. Shame on me.

The Chiefs are losers. I would bet everything that I have that they’ll not win a Super Bowl in my lifetime. Now that I live somewhere warm year round, I’ll no longer be staying inside on Sunday to watch - what’s the point? Sure, I’ll track the score from the beach, and maybe I’ll even drive up to LA to see a game every now and then, but my days of dedicating time and planning around this team are over. 40 years is enough time - I’ve had enough, and wasted enough. Shame on me.

Godspeed, Chiefs. It’s been a shitty ride. Shame on you.

Yes, because a #1 pick had to be used to get guys like Derek Carr, Teddy Bridgewater, Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson, etc. We had a shot at any of those guys and we passed every single time.

You're one dumb mother****er. You don't have to have the #1 overall pick to get a franchise QB. You have to just not be a dumbass and pass on them when they fall into your lap like Dorsey/Reid have done.

Any team can lose with those calls in crunch time. Where was the hold call on Pitt on that final 3rd down??

The defense is the reason this wasnt a 31-16 dick whipping. Chiefs scored on there ONE (1) scripted opening drive that Andy and Alex tug together every week. Shut up with the defense bullshit

While its your right to jump ship and as frustrating as it is just imagine how great it was for other franchises like the Cleveland Cavaliers or Chicago Cubs. The elation by their fans after so many disappointing years finally paid off. As a Bronco fan myself i can still remember that first SB win and how great it felt when it could of been easy to just pack it in before hand. I cant say when the Chiefs will get another title but if you love the team as much as you have for however many years than there is no reason to bail on them now. KC is still a strong organization and eventually they will break through.

I did that about year 2 or 3 of the ASS11 era. Best decision I ever made. Not one ounce of anger or sadness after last night. I rooted for them but like watching A Christmas Story for the 42nd time already knew the ending and it was uneventful.

I just compared the Chiefs with the Jags (which is considered an abortion) when it comes to playoff history.

Jags are 5-6 with to 2 conference title game appearances the last 20 years. The Chiefs are 1-7 (!) with dick.

Yes, this franchise is a joke and we are all fools for supporting them.

If I told you that one team Scored 0 touchdowns and the other team scored 2 but the team that didnt score any touchdowns wins the game, would you have believed me?

Defense did it's ****ing job they held a damned good offense to under 20 points and home team still lost. This is 100 percent on the offense. We haveKelce and Hill and they were decoys for most of the game. Pitt didn't even have a chance to shut them down the Chiefs own coach did it for them.

Chiefs are just a loser fra chise until they can have that legit qb. Until then it's all for nothing

Agree about the lack of a legit QB being a part of the reason for our postseason futility, but a lot of the franchises above us on the post season list have won with far worse QBs than we have trotted out there. For crying out loud, the Donks won a postseason game with Tim Tebow. The Chiefs postseason performance has been borderline cruel, and often beyond explanation. Hence the life of the Chiefs fan.

I realized something today...I was 7 years old in 1966 when I became a Chiefs fan. By the time I was 12 I had witnessed the Chiefs winning 4 postseason games with a Super Bowl win & a Super Bowl loss.

In the last 45 years I've witnessed 4 postseason wins.

Yuck!

I get the reasoning to a point, but what's the point of announcing it? Why try to drag others away also?

Anyway, KC lost half their defense.. the real Justin Houston and Poe were replaced by alien inepts.. the team was top 5 in drops.. couldn't run the ball for shit most of the year.. etc etc... and they were still a top 4-6 team in the AFC.

They don't suck..they are not losers. They're just beat the hell up, and had a lot of poor results last night.

As for occupying your time with other things, hey.. best of luck. Life's too short. When the enjoyment fades.. find better enjoyment elsewhere.
