Houston not expected to play on Sunday

Per Rotoworld

Wow I thought they were holding him out of practice more for precaution. This will hurt

I'm just nervous as hell about injuries. Aside from the names on IR, we're pretty healthy for this time of year.
wish they would have had the raiders game earlier in the day lol.

Yes, seriously.

Rest Houston and rest Ware. Activate Knile and ride with him and West, maybe call up Reaves if he's ready to go?

I agree - but play everyone else - we need that 2 seed.

SD will be a difficult game PERIOD. Div games always are and they want revenge for opening day not to mention to be a spoiler in not allowing us home field advantage with the 2nd seed. I want to see Reaves. Have always liked the way he runs.

I get your point but we will need both of these guys fully on board to beat SD I'm afraid. Kelce is in the zone right now and Hill continues to produce and needs more snaps to continue to get better.

Dorsey and the Chiefs had every opportunity to sign Houston before he went on his wrecking spree last year, and they chose to gamble.

They lost.

There is not a team in the league that wouldn't have paid Houston his money, and hindsight isn't worth a rookie kickers contract.

As to Maclin, Dorsey acquired the receiver that Reid wanted, just like he acquired the QB that Reid wanted.

Please address all of your Maclin concerns to:

Part of that has come from Dorsey drafting hill and kelce developing. We aren't an offense that is going to have 3 or 4 guys putting up numbers.

Dude just set the team WR record for receptions in 15 games last season with Alex Smith as his QB plus 8 TDs a year after none being thrown to WRs.

The whole offense was shit early on this year and then he missed 5 games and in his absence Reid wisely has chosen to run the offense through Kelce and Hill now, meaning much less targets for Maclin than a year ago.

And Alex Smith is still his QB in an offense that is designed to spread it around.

Don't get the Maclin hate.

That's literally it. Don't even respond to him.

I don't think Houston plays anymore this season. This seems a lot like the Charles situation. Maybe that's just the pessimist in me.

It's a numbers game..and KC is benefiting from it. No one saw Hill exploding in his first season...he would be the offensive rookie of year..if it weren't for Dallas.
