Hypothetical trade with the Raiders

Would you switch 1s with the Raiders this year in exchange for a switch of 1s next year?

I think that's realistic.
You were 2-14 last year and you added Smiff Now you think you are going to be a 8-8 team? No Way

I'd rather go 2-14 again and prove we need to draft QBotf with our top pick than go 8-8. fml.

Dude I ****ing hate Axl, but even I can see the .500 writing on the wall. Don't worry though; that's all KC strives for in life anyway.

Just face it; until the classes of 05 through 08 are on their way out, it will always be about veterans and "win now".

Of course. It's a no-brainer. If the Chiefs don't finish ahead of the Raiders in 2013, they ought to disband the franchise.

And if they do finish behind them, I'm sure you'll drum up several fine excuses as to why so. Here, I'll start for you:
"It's only the first season under Reid; these guys need more time to gel". Etc.

Time value has almost no relevance here if you accept the idea that you'll be as happy with the 3rd pick in this draft as you are with the first. I think the Chiefs are in that position here, particularly if it's Oakland and Jacksonville ahead of us.

This franchise should keep eating shit because one day it might taste like Filet Mignon.
