Who do guys use and are they worth it?

I've been with Everest/Surewest/Consolidated for 8 years and never had an issue until this past week. My modem keeps dropping the signal. Sometimes I'm good for a couple of hours and sometimes it drops ever 15 minutes. Sometimes its down for 3 hours straight. The tech people are terrible. When it first started happening we swapped out the modem same issue. Then they blamed my router, even though the modem was off line. Another time they asked if it was plugged in and then gave up once I said it was. Today someone was supposed to come out and never did. When I called back I had to talk to 5 different people because no one knows who handles scheduling. There was a "mix up" and they're coming out tomorrow.
