Official 2012-2013 NBA Thread

Looks like James Harden has been To the Rockets for Jeremey Lamb, Kevin Martin and future picks. Plus... this is a general NBA thread.

Because the Bulls are a tough team. They reflect their city. They came at Miami all night and were aggressive

Not hard when you have Wade, LeBron, Bosh, Ray Allen.

A combination of their regular complacency in the first half, the refs not giving them the calls they're accustomed to throughout the game, and the Bulls giving a huge effort in the 4th.

Yeah, it's not hard at all to win 27 games in a row in a league as competitive as the NBA. That's why Jordan's Bulls, Shaq's Lakers, and Duncan's Spurs never came anywhere close to such a streak.

Dumbass.

Taking the results of a single regular season game in which the Heat didn't try for much of it as some kind of indicator of weakness on their part is a little much.

Not only is this team the best in the league, but they're also one of the better teams in NBA history. There is certainly nobody in the East that can beat them in a playoff series. The West is a different story, but I think SAS, OKC, MEM, DEN, and LAC would need home advantage for a realistic chance at doing it.

The funny thing is until someone else steps up in the Eastern Conference, they can probably do this again. Or at least run off another 15-20 game run. There's just not another serious challenger out there.

That's pathetic. Weren't the Bulls without like 3 starters?

Not this year, though. I'd expect them to take it easy for the rest of it until the playoffs. This loss is probably better for them in the grand scheme of their season.
