Bray has had 4 offseasons with the Chiefs coaching staff, strength and conditioning program and time to absorb not only the playbook, but the way to carry himself as a professional and is still only 24 years old.

This, coupled with his measurables, makes him so damn sexy. He is one of the most seasoned QBs next to Alex on this roster...yet is one of the youngest, still.

Yeah, Chargers know all about that with Ryan Leaf, as do the Colts with Jeff George.

You know, If we were to put you and Pasta Giant Meatball into a room together to argue your different stances, I believe the sheer stupidity of your opposing arguments would rip a hole in the space/time continuum.

Carson Wentz is only 1 year younger than Bray to put in perspective how young Bray still is for the position

One thing that I like about Tyler Bray, is whether or not people think he comes off as a douche by what he says, he always says what he is thinking...and his takes on things come off as totally honest...and it makes you wonder how many other QB's think the same shit that Tyler Bray says, but they just don't say it because they have more of a filter than Tyler Bray.
Hell, it's crazy watching him in the Gruden and combine interviews. Some of the questions he answered too honestly were questions that 90% of prospective QB's are capable of answering while sugar-coating. Bray just kind of calls things as he sees them... I think Bray is a funny personality and I would love it if this guy were one of those rare UDFA good QB's that come along sometimes, like Romo or Kurt Warner. Bray is entertaining, IMO. Kind of funny. Last week, I hung out with a with a couple friends of my brother's...one of them and Eagles fan, one of them a Bears fan. We talked football the entire time. We watched Osweiler in his Gruden interview and none of us liked him...he seemed phony. I then showed them the Gruden Tyler Bray segment and at first they were confused because they didn't know much about Bray and had no idea that he is seemingly the front-runner for the backup position. All 3 of us laughed our asses off at that video...Bray says things that are so...honest, whether he is wrong or right...It's how he sees it. 90% of interviewees are better at filtering what they say and sometimes it comes off like, "ugh, yeah...ok, dude..." like it did when you watch Osweiler. Hell, Bray said (without even twice about saying it) that he was ready for he NFL because he did well in the SEC and that the SEC was kind of like the NFL anyway, so he felt like things would be fine. And when asked why he left Tennessee for the draft he will respond with things like, "I lost a lot of my weapons" or "I did not want to run the system they were running the next year," etc. Most dudes would know to answer it more smoothly...With Bray, he's honest...and it's because he either doesn't give a **** what people think of him for what he says, or he is just blissfully unaware of how some of the things he says comes off to people because he is a ****ing dumbass. Chances are low that we ever see anything worth noting from Bray, but if it happens, we are going to have a lot of funny stuff to talk about. |
