Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

I don't even know why you are defending yourself here, every post you are making is basically you saying, "yes, I am satisfied with 8 win seasons..." You love your mediocrity, just accept it.
You have no idea what Alex Smith is capable of in this offense. He hasn't played one meaningful snap yet and you've already written the season off as mediocre. Get a grip man. It's a team sport.

If you're a Niners fan, go **** yourself. You have no ****ing clue what we've gone through. You can't even conceive of it.

We've had Alex Smiths before. They never ****ing work.

Nope, but I know his limitations. And one of those limitations is him retiring without a championship (at least if he remains a starting Qb).

It's just too funny. Anytime a poster "comes out" for their support of Alex Smith, you instantly know who loves their 8 win seasons.

The eagles went to like 3 championship games under Reid not to mention a super bowl. Smith could easily replicate what McNabb was doing on those teams. You can't see the forest because of the trees man.

Yeah, and they ended up firing his ass. He won them zero championships. ZERO. Exactly as many as you and I have won them. So I guess, congrats Andy Reid? I mean he did make $ millions so good for him, **** us right?

What? Now we can only hire coaches that have won super bowls? That's a pretty small list dude.

Welcome to reality of the modern NFL, where the teams that win it all have premiere playmakers at Qb who can throw 35+ td's any given season and can make all the throws. Qb's without limitations, unlike AS.

QB's without limitations? Lol you mean like Superman? You guys sound like idiots. Getting an all-time great QB is about dumb luck, you can't plan for that. And even then, no QB is perfect, and they ALL need a strong supporting cast and good coaching.

Most of you Smith haters were clamoring for Geno Smith, who can't even beat out Mark Sanchez. Maybe you should eat a piece of humble pie and admit you really don't know anything about QB play in the NFL.

I am a Niners fan. And also a SF Giants fan, so I know exactly what you're going through. What I also know is hope is much more useful than cynicism, and it makes finally winning a championship so much more rewarding. I mean, if you're a negative nancy all season and then you end up winning it all, will you even be happy? Or just pissed that you were wrong about Smith? All you haters just sound like bandwagon fans.

Then don't watch the season? You think a 2-14 club is going to go straight to a superbowl the first year they hire a new staff? A winning culture takes time. A 8-8 record would be remarkable after having such a dismal and inept display of play the prior season.

One thing about Kizer: I think Notre Dame was so much of a shitshow, overrated program that he could have some untapped potential in a more stable environment. I like his talent the most out of all these guys.
