Devito is basically a better version of Vickerson. And btw DJ wants to play another 3-5 years so looks like he will retire a chief.

What that weight loss means to me, is that he shed that weight to help make up for his lost quickness... dude definitely isnt quicker than he was pre-injury.

Thats the first I've heard of DJ's weight loss, makes me want a bigass Levon Kirkland type like Jeff Luc even more.

Like I said, our run defense sucked last year with him on the team, he was a band-aid... getting a beefy new ILB to put next to DJ is much more important for the run defense than Vickerson will ever be IMO.

You don't need to be a huge oaf to be a good run stuffer. Pat Willis and Navarro Bowman are both like 235 and they were one of the better run stopping duos of this era.
