Go to a motorcycle shop and get some winter riding gloves. Dexterity, check (critical for riding). Wind resistance, check. Low profile, hmm.. maybe.

Got those puppies for the Thursday night game. Stayed till the very end and my hands never even came close to getting cold. Did not need any warmers either. EDIT: Just read the rest of your post: dexterity may be an issue so maybe not the right gloves for you. Still, these are the warmest gloves I have ever owned. Super soft and comfy too.

Yeah I have around a dozen pair of those things myself. I always seem to wear a hole in the index fingers, particularly when I use them for ATVing. Thankfully I got most of them for free back when they were part of my line card.
