Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.


Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?



Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Its been a great morning.

Scored 4 bricks of .22LR, and 1 brick of .22 Mag. I also picked up my new Colt LE6920 AR15.

Hopefully tomorrow, I'll be able to take it out for a spin.

Anyone see the deal palmetto states running on the mossberg 715t?

I'm looking to build/ buy a cheap ar. The wife wants a pink one.... What's the cheapest route to make a shooter? I'm talking cheap lol she will probably be tired of it in a month. Cheaper to go blem lower parts kit and the palmetto state 199.99 upper minus the b&g and gas block a good deal? The one thing it has to have it a sliding stock.

Last year around Christmas Palmetto had complete lowers with Magpul stock going for $149, couple that with the cheap upper and you have a decent AR for the price of a .22.

Since she will get tired of it, I would stick with cheap handguard, handle, and buttstock. You can replace them and sale the gun to make some $$$.

That's what I was thinking. I've seen complete frontiers for 130 ish but can't find any currently. She wants pink grips Ect on it. Gonna keep it easy to change back to black.

I tried several of the high end 1911's and the EB definitely fit my hand the best. It felt really good.

Had to get a complete 5.56 upper from Bravo Company USA. I ordered it early Monday morning, got a tracking number by Monday afternoon, and delivered on Wednesday. Talk about fast shipping!

They're running a sale where all upper receiver groups include a free bolt carrier group. The BCG itself normally costs about $170. Don't know how long the sale will last.

Here are the specs:

14.5" Standard 5.56 NATO barrel
1/7 twist rate
chrome bore and chamber
mid length gas system
BCM MOD 1 compensator (permanently attached)
BCM GUNFIGHTER MOD 4 charging handle (large)
BCM KMR13 free float handguard





They even included a nice gray BCM hat, a small bottle of lube, 2 rails, and 5 bumper stickers.
