CIA says Russia interfered in elections to help elect Trump

Quote:
The CIA has concluded that Russia intervened in the 2016 election specifically to help Donald Trump win the presidency, a U.S. official has confirmed to NPR.

"Before, there was confidence about the fact that Russia interfered," the official says. "But there was low confidence on what the direction and intentionality of the interference was. Now they (the CIA) have come to the conclusion that Russia was trying to tip the election to Trump."
http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-w...to-elect-trump

Quote:
On Friday evening, the Trump transition team fired back with a statement dismissing the report of the agency's conclusion.

"These are the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction," the statement said. "The election ended a long time ago in one of the biggest Electoral College victories in history. It's now time to move on and 'Make America Great Again.' "

In fact, Trump's percentage of the electoral vote in the 2016 election ranks 46th among presidential election winners in U.S. history

I don't want the US to have to rely on foreign anything. But this would be more like having copies of the incriminating Watergate documentation being anonymously mailed to every network in the country. Of course investigations would proceed to try to find out who exposed the info. That doesn't mean the info gets ignored though, and it shouldn't be.

This just kills me.

You should go down to the Russian embassy with a pizza and six pack and give them all blowies for their saving of the country from Hillary. Who cares if they actually attempted to affect a US presidential election?

This amazing level of hate for Hillary is just stupefying. Where does it come from? It's the only thing that certain individuals keep repeating ad nauseum.

I don't get it. I would really like to have someone tell me where this absolute seething hatred for someone comes from. What did Hillary Clinton do to you that created this loathing? That you are happy that a foreign power actually influenced a US presidential election?

This comes off as a sore loser and cynical. It's assuming the worst over one article.I' m confident it actually has some truth, it will be addressed.

It's also frightening that people could turn a lblind eye to the DNC and Clinton and Co. It' also very frightening to know that the media had no integrity during this election, and encouraged protests which ended up in riots in some cases. College students being coddled because their vote didn't work out the way they liked. That our citizenship and history are being devalued.

Let's not pretend we aren't living in dangerous times. And studies show, when tragedy strikes, 80% are waiting to be told what to do.

If you honestly don't understand why half of the country downright HATES her, me pounding on these keyboard buttons wont help any. Just remember no matter how the information came to light, it did come to light. Myself and many others will not sweep it under the rug and then point the other direction and say look at that.

You have a "feeling?" Or do you know of actual scandals that involve Hillary that have had a direct impact on you that has served as the cause of this hatred?
