I'd love to watch the NBA if KC had a team. I won't be like every other swinging dick and latch onto the Lakers or Bulls as my team.

That's not fair.

Lakers fans are earning their stripes these days. If you talk to someone that still wants to talk Lakers basketball, shake his hand (and send him my way because I'll need someone to get drunk with when we end up picking 4th and lose that pick to Philadelphia....)

Games are unpredictable, which is what's fun to watch. Anything can happen.

NBA is a good product but too predictable.

College players are terrible under the basket for the most part, which is the most annoying part for me.

But yeah, that game isn't a good representation overall, both teams were awful in the OTs. I also quit watching the KU game (already knew the final score anyway) because I was just watching whistles and free throws... that shit definitely takes away from it.

I tried to watch the Cavaliers and Clippers the other day, which is first I've tried in a couple years, but kept getting distracted and wasn't all that interested... I do appreciate the skill though.

Most bigs do not have good skills there. See even Diallo (who was a top 10 recruit).

Both games were tough to watch. Austin Peay really ruined that one with hacking in an attempt to keep it close (and it doesn't help that their sole offensive strength is attacking the basket and getting foul calls).

It's the fact that regular season games really don't mean much at all to the teams playing in them (the Clippers didn't give a shit in the game you are talking about). I've only attended a few games this year (Raptors/Cavs, Raptors/Warriors) when I was certain both teams in it would try. On might nights in the NBA, you're just not going to get the effort and that's when it gets a bit drawn out. Playoffs are great, though.

Practically nobody does... I can understand bigs developing, learning how to be more aggressive at the rim, work on footwork and moves, etc.. but, even layups get ridiculous at times. Even someone as skilled as Wiggins had issues finishing at times, and he obviously had no issues getting there.

Yeah, I see it in hockey, too, especially when teams play back to back nights. I usually tune into the NBA on off nights of hockey during the playoffs, will probably give it another shot once again.

41-40 UNC at halftime.

The game has evolved so much and guys have gotten so good at hitting 3s that the payoff just isn't there.

If you're a big man and you can either spend your time learning post moves or extend your range to 16 feet, you'll spend the time extending your range.

I think it's time the NBA takes a look at the 3 point line. The NFL realized that kickers were just too automatic so they adjusted the XP. The NBA has to recognize that shooting 33% on 3 pointers just isn't that tough anymore and when that's the case and you need to hit 50% on 2s to be equally efficient, why bother?

Yeah, there's some crotchety old man for me here. In the end, Golden State is universally seen as the most entertaining basketball out there right now and as much as I enjoy it, I can still only watch guys pass around the perimeter and huck 3s for so long. "Hurray...another 3 from the corner on a fast break....ugh".

I'd like to see some rule changes that bring a little balance back.

Were Tom Creen and Tom Arnold separated at birth?

At least we don't have to watch those damn Baylor highlighters anymore

A potential Oregon/Baylor matchup might have damaged retinas across America.

I would have taken Excedrin Migraine.

And glad to hear that Jim Nantz can pronounce Des Moines correctly.
