Hypothetical trade with the Raiders

Would you switch 1s with the Raiders this year in exchange for a switch of 1s next year?

I'd bet almost anything that we have at least 7 wins next year and Oakland has less than 5.
Yeah we'd very likely do well if we made the trade. However, if we didn't, we'd look like gigantic ****in idiots, and we've done that enough for my liking. If we trade the #1 pick, regardless of how this draft class is perceived, I'd like to at least get SOMETHING guaranteed in return out of the deal. And I certainly wouldn't want to take the risk of losing something.

FYP

I don't think people really understand just how bad the Raiders will be this year.

The Chiefs have targeted four players this year; they are still guaranteed to get one of them with this trade. I'm willing to bet that they would have a 50/50 chance to land Clowney next year with that trade.

It's funny how many people say we have to roll the dice, but they only want to roll the dice when there is a crappy draft. When there is an opportunity to get a player that the FO likes in this draft and still land a once in a generation player, whoa Nellie, gotta play it safe....

If we could swing a deal like this and then move down another two times, adding another second and third rounder and end up picking in the late teens this year...we could really own the 2013 draft as well as secure a top 5 pick next year that we could use on a qb if one is "good enough"...if one isn't, Clowney would look good in red n gold.

I guess I'm just not that confident in gambling on how an NFL season will unfold. Especially considering we could end up cellar dwellers with Oakland. It'd be funny if the trade did occur and we played Oakland the last game of the season, and we were both the worst 2 teams in the NFL. It would be the biggest game between 2 cellar dwellers ever. Gotta win to get that #1 pick lol.

No QB in the draft will ever be "good enough" for this fatty-loving, ****tard fanbase.

Only if we landed the top pick with a Luck or Manning type QB. Apparently that just isn't in the damn cards for us though. Hell, they'd probably take a tackle then too, directly after trading for another teams backup QB.

Of course they would take the fatty. Every ****ing time. Go ahead and insert whichever can't miss, unquestioned QB prospect ever to come down the pike in to that scenario. The Chiefs would pass on him and have the full blessing of Lil Chiefy Idiot Fan all day long.

We should have traded them Cassel for their Firsts in 2013 and 2014.

I have little doubt Oakland finishs any better than 3-13. They are going to be absolutely horrible.
