Kevin Keitzman can suck anti-freeze

WTF is this guys' problem? Yesterday he was bashing on the Royals for their behavior over the weekend. Fine. WTF ever.

Today he decides he needs to make fun of Ventura, Escobar and Cain.

Ventura: Called him a diva and what not for the way he acted when he got his thumb cramp. I'm like WTF? JC can take a square hit from a 280 pound LB and not go down but if dude gets a cramp he will drop like a brick. Cramps ****ing hurt. So fin WTF ever, KK...

Escobar: Now here is where I got pissed. Said dude was being over dramatic by being carried off the field when he got taken out. I'm like yeah, the guy started 170+ games straight last year and he is over dramatic. Never mind the trainers probably told Esky not to put any pressure on his leg until they could look at it. KK is all "I've hit myself in the shin several times..."

so **** him right there,,,

Cain: Then he goes onto make fun of Cain for being all huffy and puffy after he chases down a routine catch in a gap. He's all, you just ran 70 feet, you're a world class athlete, blah blah blah.

Then goes on to say "what do you think Gordon thinks of these guys?" and what not.

Is this guy that pissed his station lost the Royals contract? Or is he that desperate to stir up controversy?

So he was basically trying to say these guys are divas and overly dramatic and what not but he thinks it's "cute".
**** him in his ear.

I like the Border patrol, and I love Petro, even though he's pretty bitchy, but I just can't listen to that afternoon show anymore.

Here's why:
1) KK knows very little about sports. I can't tell you the number of times he's been completely baffled by something that is pretty much common knowledge. I thought it was some weird shtick, but it's really just ignorance.
2) I'm tired of the commercial that is his entire show. Someone already said this, but he has become exactly what he claimed to hate. The fury and ugliness with which he went after Fortune and "Conglomo," only led to him becoming exactly what they were. Corporate radio geared toward a country club crowd of casual sports fans. I'll never forget how he railed on and on about Fortune's sponsored show, then immediately got a name sponsor for his show. When someone called him out on it, he tried to wiggle out of it claiming where the name of the sponsor was made it different.
3) I don't think even he believes half of what he says.
4) The overall attitude of how much he hates KC sports and KC athletes (by both he and Clinkscale) is ridiculous. I get tht if any of us were to really know most of the players on the teams, we wouldn't like most of them. But guys, you work in the ****ing toy store. Act like it's kinda fun, instead of a chore you're doing for our benefit.

But above all else, and what finally made me change the dial...

5) I'm bored. He brings nothing interesting to the board. The show is a vehicle for him to take a couple of vacations a year to Tahoe and Arizona. Talk about his golf game or grilling. Hang out and chat with his buddies. The old golfer, the old TV guys, and who can forget Kato. It's just dull.
This is very true.... I think he's decided to quit trying to be a sports guy and instead be the moral compass of sports - using KC sports as his perpetual example. He's very-much tried to become KO, which is terrible in and of itself, but he's not even good at that.

If this is what his bosses wanted, they get it. However, if they were looking for somebody who's respected by the locals, well this experiment didn't quite workout.

You guys are doing just what he wanted. Talking about kk. Face it someone is listening and its you guys because you know word for word what he is throwing out. When there is no talk of kk on the board then he loses.

I've been listening for years. I decided last week I'm done with his show.

I mainly just don't want to hear his take on the Royals anymore. He clearly sees this team as a bunch of punks and I have no time for it. Which means I'll probably listen to 610 mostly during evening commute.

He's been towing the racial line quite often lately.

He wanted so bad to rip Mexicans a couple weeks ago over the soccer match and now this with all the Latin Royals.

He's just looking for people to get upset.

Clinkscale was pretty good yesterday talking about the Reds manager that blew up. He basically said that everything he, KK, Petro, etc do is the "entertainment business". None of it really matters which is why he didn't understand why that manager was going so nuts over injury info.

KK didn't like that. He thinks all this sports stuff is sooooo important and he's like near or at the center of it all.

He's also on this crusade lately thinking all liberals want to abolish football because they were all pussies in high school that used to get picked on by the football players and now the only reason doctors are doing research on head injuries is so that the medical community, the media, and all the other whiney libs can take down football.

He's pretty funny and insane.

God I hate Kk. It sucks that 810 is the only KC sports station we can get up here. It's either listen to those douchers or the local Husker suck-fest.

I just can't deal with sports talk radio. If I want a mix of 50% ads, 30% idiots and 20% informative commentary I'll just turn off my ad blocker and visit Chiefs Planet.

I'm guessing that despite his outrage, pete will be tuning in to KK this afternoon.

Just a hunch.

most likely not as I won't be the car....I tend to flip from 610 to 810 when 610 goes to commercial or is talking about how they can't get a date.

I don't care for KK but if the topic is one of interest or he has a guest on I will listen.

Bottom line is your hunch is wrong......but okay
