Eagles might listen to trade offers for Desean Jackson
DeSean Jackson - WR - Eagles
Philly.com's Jimmy Kempski reports there is an "opinion among some in the Eagles' organization" that DeSean Jackson's personality is "not a great fit" with the team's locker room culture, and the Eagles "could be open to trading him."
This isn't the first whisper of a possible D-Jax trade. Per Kempski, the Eagles are "not going to shop Jackson" because doing so would cost them leverage, but "if another team came calling, the Eagles certainly wouldn't laugh and hang up." Even if the odds remain low that Jackson will be shipped off, they grew when the Eagles re-signed Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin. Philly also has an excellent tight end group, and Damaris Johnson, Jeff Maehl, and Arrelious Benn as wideout depth.

I would rather see if the Cardinals will take a conditional pick next year for fitz, and still draft a WR in the first if a speedster(possible number 1) falls.

I just do not see desean being content here and constantly wanting a new contract.

Wouldn't mind doing it, however, with this wr class, you could essentially sit tight and get a desean Jackson type player in Beckham if he were to be there at 23, and pay him about a 1/10 of that.

It would be exciting for sure, and even with the cap situation we could re-work contracts and redo his to make it happen.

I'd be shocked if it happened, though. Just doesn't seem to fit what we're doing with the roster right now.
