Anyone here doing the E-Cig / Vape thing?

Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.

Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.

I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.

I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

Take small hits, it takes a while for your lungs to get used to it. It'll pass in a day or two

For a 2 pack a day guy, 24mg is what you should be using or you'll want to start kicking puppies

Marb red = 1.8% or 18- go with that and that should take down the throat hit.

Even if you have to go to a lower nicotine level, just to tolerate it, you can hit it more and it's still healthier for you. Just remember: you have your 2.4 if you find yourself in a dire situation, which is key.

I only smoked one brand and it was menthol. I can't stand menthol e-juice. Try some stuff, you might surprise yourself and in my opinion you should never look for anything that reminds you of your old cigarettes; you won't find it. Just accept the change and realize the flavor is a part of that. Honestly the exploration of juices turned it into a bit of a hobby for me and made the transition more enjoyable.

Sooner or later you'll find yourself saying I need my e-cig, not a cig and it's all down hill from there.

Haven't tried it. I started on V2 and made a quick transition to eGo. I have heard some pretty decent things for them, but you are kind of pegged into their products if I recall.

It's not necessarily. It's what kind of cigs you smoked not how much. If he smoked unfiltered I would say go 24 or 36, but he would just have to puff 18 more than you or me, much like he does with his cigarettes.

they don't have liquid refills either, you have to buy cartridges

Yea that is the downside. Going with a 510 thread (I believe the one you mentioned is an 808) you can really go out an see what other companies have to offer. Then you can get other flavors from vendors that specialize in making it. The freedom to choose where and who you get your juice from makes the experience much better, IMO

Oh That goes away after awhile. Much like you coughed with your first cigarette, you do with this. That takes about 2-3 days to go away. You start to actually notice a difference if you stick with it for a day.

Heh, the last time it was the opposite. It took me a week to actually learn how to get a hit where I could feel it. And yeah, it won't take that long because while I am smoking with it like last time, I am just coughing like a mother****er. My wife is amused. I told her I'd get used too it, and you've just reinforced that.

I started out with 24mg and had the same one he's using (I was a pack a day smoker). It took a couple of days for me to stop choking when I hit it. Now I'm using 18mg with the Ego v2set at 3.5.

And yes, I agree he should try different flavors and stay away from the imported shit. It seemed to hit a lot harsher than the handcrafted liquids we discussed earlier
